Each Luna bulb is equipped with advanced sensors, a powerful processor, and a machine learning algorithm, allowing it to detect human presence with exceptional precision—even without visible motion. Once presence is sensed, Luna evaluates ambient light, time of day, and environmental context to deliver the perfect illumination—automatically, without apps, switches, or internet.

Once Luna senses human presence, it analyses the ambient light and environmental conditions such as the time of day and date to automatically illuminate with the most suitable lighting settings. Luna's adaptive lighting technology dynamically adjusts to your movements, providing a personalized and responsive lighting experience throughout your space.

Thanks to its robust presence detection capabilities, Luna can consistently recognize human presence, even when there is no movement for extended periods. This feature ensures that your environment remains perfectly lit, regardless of activity levels, enhancing both comfort and energy efficiency. Luna is designed to be discerning; it specifically does not trigger on animals. This selective detection ensures that your lighting remains stable and undisturbed, focusing only on human activity within the space.
Adaptive illumination
Luna’s adaptive night light feature ensures safe, comfortable navigation during nighttime by automatically adjusting brightness based on motion activity and environmental conditions. Circadian Rhythm Support: Emulates natural lighting patterns that align with the body’s circadian rhythms, promoting better sleep and wakefulness. Reduced Blue Light Exposure: Automatically reduces blue light emissions in the evenings to minimize disruptions to sleep patterns.

Founded by Ivan Tur, a marketing and product management expert with over a decade of experience launching consumer products,

Jonathan Schröter, a freelance programmer with 10+ years of experience in C++, Swift, and AI for pattern recognition and signature detection, Luna brings together marketing insight and advanced technical execution.
We are currently at the pre-seed stage, with the following milestones achieved: Product Development: UX design, working hardware prototypes, and core machine learning algorithms are completed. Market Readiness: We conducted detailed market research, customer segmentation, and a 3,000-hour field test study with 28 participants, receiving highly positive feedback. Supply Chain: Pre-selection of suppliers and cost benchmarking have been completed. Brand & Marketing: Our brand identity and key promotional materials are already developed and validated with early adopters. Still pending: finalization of the B2B/B2C go-to-market strategy, closure of our pre-seed funding round, and completion of the ESOP framework. We are now actively looking for investors to join us in bringing Luna to life. With strong early traction, validated user interest, and a clear roadmap ahead, Luna is ready to make adaptive, effortless smart lighting a reality for everyone.
